I love my Ecofan!

Thursday, October 27th, 2011

The weather around Seattle is getting cooler. I’ve started a few fires in my wood stove already. As I was watching the fire burn last night, I thought about how much I like the Ecofan my mom got me for Christmas last year. The fan sits on top of my wood stove and blows air […]

Nearest Book

Saturday, November 15th, 2008

As seen on I’m not here… Grab the nearest book. Open it to page 56. Find the fifth sentence. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions. Don’t dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST. Here is mine from Paper Towns by […]

Monday, August 25th, 2008

I was fascinated by those one-wheeled cycles that were ridden in the Olympics closing ceremony. There is not a lot of information to be found about them right now but I did manage to find this: “One Wheel Bodybuilding Entertainment Bicycle”

Photo projects

Wednesday, January 18th, 2006

I was browsing the articles on digg and I was lead to this site: Noah K. Everyday. This guy has taken a photo of himself every day since January, 2000. If that wasn’t amazing and strange enough, Noah’s site lead me to this site: The Adaption to my Generation. A lot of the links are […]

The Future of Television?

Friday, December 30th, 2005

Tivo is experimenting with downloadable content over the Internet. If you have a Series 2 box and you have it connected to your home network, you can subscribe to a video web log called Rocketboom. Twenty four hours after subscribing, new episodes of Rocketboom will appear in your “now playing” list. Pretty cool. BTW, if […]
